This past Sunday we welcomed the new school and program year with a Blessing of the Backpacks during Worship (everyone got a "You & Me? We're Neighbors!" backpack tag) and celebrated the end of summer with a Family Picnic & Pool Party at Camp O'Bannon! ☀️💦😊🎒We are praying that all students and educators have a wonderful year full of learning and love! ❤️

Another wonderful Youth Local Service Day! We helped the Outreach Committee make chocolates for the Chocolate Walk in September, harvested vegetables and pulled weeds for Together We Grow gardens, packed bags for the Y Healthy Kids Backpack Program, and prepped the backpack tags for Blessing of the Backpacks tomorrow! We also had a yummy lunch and dinner (thanks Ted 😊), went bowling, had a devotional time, and watched a movie together. We are excited for the start of another great youth year! ❤️
