Sunday at 11 AM — The King Has Extended His Scepter
Have you ever felt like you needed God, but something inside you made you want to stay at a distance?
The story of Esther gives us a powerful picture of what it means to come before the King. She came with a real need, unsure of what would happen — but the king extended his scepter.
Hebrews tells us that because of Jesus, we can come boldly to the throne of grace and find mercy, grace, and help in our time of need.
This Sunday, we’ll look at what Esther’s story teaches us about our access to God, the basis of that access, and why the King is willing to receive us.
