This week, we celebrated Hooray Day—a special day where we celebrate God! 🎉🙌❤️ This Hooray Day was a big celebration because we learned that David understood that God knew everything about him. God even knew the words David would speak! 🗣️💭

God knows everything about us too! 💕 He leads us to know Him because He loves us. ✝️❤️

🍽️ At mealtimes this week, talk about the different things that make each member of your family special. 💕 Remind your family that God knows everything about them and loves them very much! 🥰🙏✨

Take time today to pray as a family—talk to God and listen for His guidance. 🙏❤️ Pray for these four things:

1. 🙌 Thank God that He wants us to love like Jesus.
2. ❤️ Ask God to help you love others like Jesus.
3. 🙏 Pray for those who may be difficult to love. Ask God to help you share His love with them.
4. 💕 Choose one or two people to pray for. Ask God to help them love others the way Jesus would. ✝️

Remember: We can love like Jesus because God first loved us! ❤️✨

Preschoolers learned that Jesus wants everyone to know that loving others, even when it’s hard, makes us more like God. ❤️✝️ When we love everyone, people can see God’s love shining through us. ✨

We can love like Jesus and know that God has a plan for us. 💕🙏

As you are out and about this week, talk about times when it is hard to love others and times when it is easier to love others. 💬 Help your preschooler see that they can love like Jesus, even when it’s hard! ❤️🌟

Gather some paper and pencils. ✏️📄 Pair family members together. One person will be the “artist,” and the other will be the “guide.” 🎨👩‍🎨

The artist will close their eyes 👀❌ and try to draw a simple shape, such as a circle or a house, 🏠⭕ based only on the guide’s verbal instructions. The guide should give clear directions and encourage the artist along the way. 🗣️💬

Afterward, talk about how the artist had to trust the guide to tell them what to do. 💕 This activity reminds us that we can trust God, even when we can’t see what’s ahead. 🙏✨

This week, we taught preschoolers that they can trust like Jesus. 💕✝️ In our Bible story, Jesus told the people, “Don’t worry! God knows everything you need.” 🙏

We can trust Jesus and know that God has a plan for us. 🌟 We can follow our leader, Jesus, and live like Him. 👣❤️

Trust means believing that God will take care of you and do what He says He will do. 🙌 We can trust Jesus and know that God has a plan for us. 💛

💬 Talk with your family this week about times when you need to trust God. 🙏✨

🌟 This Week’s Lesson: Serve Like Jesus! 🙏❤️

This week, the kids learned that they can serve like Jesus! 🫶 In our Bible story, Jesus warned people not to let money or things take first place in their lives. 💰🚫 Instead, we can remember that God has a plan for each of us and choose to follow our leader, Jesus, by living like Him. ✝️👣

This week, take some time to pray with your kids 🙏 for opportunities to serve others just like Jesus did. ❤️ Look for simple ways to love, help, encourage, and serve those around you! 🤝😊

Let’s follow Jesus and serve like Him! 🌎❤️✨

Challenge your child to build a house out of blocks on cushions or pillows, then move pillows and see if the house falls. Then challenge your child to build a house out of blocks on a hard surface. Then see if it falls by being bumped or walked around.
We can stay strong and live like Jesus when hard things come.

Mother’s Day looks different for everyone. For some, it’s a day full of flowers, hugs, and celebration. For others, it can be one of the hardest days of the year.
