Today, I had the privilege of presiding over the Ordination Mass of and welcoming Father John Ippolito and Father Joseph Haas into the brotherhood as newly ordained priests of the Archdiocese of New York.

I was ordained during Pentecost weekend myself, so this day carries a special place in my heart. Like me, both of these men are new to the Archdiocese of New York, and it is a tremendous honor to walk alongside them as we begin this journey together. For years to come, we will be able to say that we started together in the year 2026.

Please keep Fathers Ippolito and Haas in your prayers as they begin their priestly ministry. May the Holy Spirit guide and strengthen them each day.

Today marks my first 100 days as Archbishop of New York, and I continue to feel happy, grateful, and truly blessed to serve God’s people across the Archdiocese of New York.

It was an honor to gather today as a family of faith and a family of God with the Fire Department's Holy Name Society. To our firefighters and your families who give your lives so generously in service to others, we are deeply grateful for you and continue to keep you in our prayers.

As I begin day 101 tomorrow, I entrust my life to God, trusting that even in moments of uncertainty, He is always with us and listens when we pray.
