Glory To Jesus Christ!

Dear Parishioners of Holy Cross Ukrainian Catholic Church
Dear Supporters of Ukraine,

Russia’s military aggression on our beloved Motherland, Ukraine, has been devastating. Thousands of people have died at the hands of Russian troops, including women and children. Cities and villages have been continuously attacked and destroyed, some completely decimated to rubble.

We are all God’s children; we have the right to live together peacefully, respectfully, happily and harmoniously on our own land.

Here in the United States, Americans, including numerous charities, schools, churches and organizations have been generous not only with their thoughts and prayers, but with supplying various humanitarian aid, such as: medicinal supplies, food, clothing, basic necessities and financial donations.

On behalf of all Ukrainians, we want to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude. Your outpouring of love, support and generosity has warmed our hearts and we are extremely grateful. Regardless of your nationality, religious denomination or race, you have exemplified what it means to be a true Christian, a genuine human being.

We, at the Holy Cross Ukrainian Catholic Church will remember your kindness and keep you in our prayers. May the Lord reward you bountifully!

Dear our Christian family, friends in Christ!

We sincerely invite you on August 30, 2020 for mass, which will take place at 10 am in the Church of the Holy Cross in Astoria and afterwards lunch to thank for the long service of Father Cyril in our parish, an wish him well on his new appointment. We will also bewelcoming our newly appointed from the newly appointed Pastor, Mario Datsyshyn, OSBM.

Please join us and together we will be enriched by God's word.The meeting of the Christian family is a time filled with prayer, brotherly unity, family warmth, God's grace.
