LAMP Campus Ministry

LaMP is your friendly, neighborhood, progressive, Protestant campus ministry in Morningside Heights. All college and graduate students are welcome.

LaMP - Lutherans, Methodists and Presbyterians - is a progressive Christian campus ministry community for college and graduate students living and studying in uptown Manhattan. We are a community of students who take time out of our busy schedules each week to come together to explore issues of faith and life and connect with each other and God. We also do service and advocacy work, go on fun outi

ngs in the city and connect with students across New York through The Vine citywide campus ministry network. LaMP's weekly gatherings have concluded for the spring semester, but we hope to resume in person gatherings in fall 2021. Our LaMP Study Break is on hold tonight as we take an outing to Trinity Place Shelter's Trivia Night fundraiser to support LGTBQ+ youth in our community. See you next week!

LaMP is back starting tonight! Join us ONLINE on Mondays from 7-7:45 for our new Monday Night Study Break gathering. We will be checking in, doing some kind of fun activity together, then ending with music and prayer or meditation. This is a great opportunity to get centered and refreshed each week. Zoom in from 7-7:45pm eastern tonight for a time of checking in, a good old fashioned game of show and tell, plus time to read Advent scripture together and light the Advent wreath. Starting 11/30/20, LaMP's weekly gathering will be meeting online to Zoom for the time being instead of in person due to the increased positivity rate of COVID in NYC. This is a bummer but we want to do our part to keep the infection rate low.
