How sensitive must one be inside so as not to miss the slightest sinful thought, from which peace is lost and the Lord departs. Fear losing the good feeling of blissful silence in your heart. This is a skill that cannot be acquired immediately. Since we are in the delusion of insensitivity, only after sinning, realizing that we have lost peace and God, we can correct our mistake. That is precisely why we need frequent changes of state, to teach the heart and mind to see and feel more subtly... As Enoch, the prophet, says it is easier to extinguish a fire at the beginning than at the end. When we are insensitive, we do not have time to preserve the conscience of our neighbor. We realize that we have hurt our neighbor too late... How carefully must we treat our neighbor so as not to lose God?
