How can God love a sinner like me? We are unworthy to even call ourselves Christians, yet Gods beautiful mercy and grace is renewed in our life daily. Even when we fail, he loves us. His word tells us that even though we are still sinners, he died for us. The magnitude of Gods greatest gift of salvation for those who believe is incredible and best of all it is free to us because the price has already been paid…

God told the Israelites the promise land was rich, fertile and that the land would be theirs, but when the scouts returned to Moses, with all the reason they had to enter the land God placed aside for them all they could do is focus on their fears... talks of giants and fortified walls made them lose sight of God's promise to them. When we face trials, we can't let the negative blind us to see all the positives. We are children of God, the almighty creator of all things, he has promised to guide us and has the power to help us in all situations.

We often concern ourselves with what we are supposed to be doing...the to-do list, productivity, accomplishments, but according to his word, God is less concerned about what we are doing and more concerned about who we are becoming.

I feel like a lot of people trying to live up to something like they need to protect their image, they need to maintain some type of status, if your status ain’t to be more like Christ, if your “image” don’t look like Christ, if what you living up to is not in the likeness of Christ then I’m here to tell you, straight up...you doin it wrong! Lord I pray that you strip me of me, that my desires line up with your desires for me, forgive me for when I lose sight in exactly that.
