The Incredible Power We Carry.

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:19

Two nights ago, I was listening to Lester Sumrall on, "How to cast out demons."
The next night I went to work and at the beginning of the shift was a patient that was screaming/yelling that you could hear her from one end of the hallway to the other. Her screaming was so irritating to the ears it attracted a couple of people from the neighboring unit who came to tell us to do something for her. I was a little irritated because I had already spoken to her right at the beginning of the shift and tried to calm her down even though she was not my patient. In addition to that she had refused from the previous shift, medication that was meant to calm her down. I looked through her history and there was no major psych history correlating her behavior. As I stood there, I remembered the message from the previous night on casting out demons. But I was hesitant and didn't want to cause a stir. This went on for a while, her nurse was so frustrated and she said that lady screams like she has a demon! I smiled, put on gloves and went into the room. I was going to scream but thank God I controlled myself. I put my right hand on her forehead and prayed for her in the Name of Jesus. I came out and stood at the door and began to document on my patients. One guy came to me and said there's something wrong with her that we can't do anything about. I told him she will be alright. In less than 10 minutes she began to calm down. Her nurse was like oh, she's calming down maybe I should try to give her something. She offered her meds and she willingly took it. She calmed down, went to sleep and we did not hear her for the rest of the night and even though I left late at the end of the shift she was still quiet. My only regret was that I was scared of appearing a religious fanatic so I didn't call anyone and I did not use the opportunity to let others know or witness the power of God.

One issue that young ministers often complain about is not being allowed to function or manifest their full potential. They complain bitterly and abhor systems or protocols they claim to be uninspiring and stifling.
In my observation, most young ministers join a ministry and attempt to live their dream/vision through that ministry. They often assume the House or Ministry have no vision or purpose so they are sent to bring a vision or direction. They want to run things their way and expect all to answer at their beck and call including the Set Man under whom God has placed them or sent them to serve.
Dear Young Minister, you are sent to serve, to receive training and instruction and be released in God’s own time. God knows you are super-anointed and a miracle-worker but He’s sent you to the “non-miracle worker” and “unanointed” to serve.
The operational clause being “to serve.” The servant has no plans of his own. He waits on the master and does his bidding. If you claim/believe that God sent you there to serve, and not to take over then serve you must. Set aside your lofty ambitions. Don’t try to run a ministry within ministry. God is not the author of this confusion, it is you allowing yourself to be a tool of the devil. Remember, while David served Saul he knew he was the next King yet he played instruments and sang for his boss and did crude jobs while waiting for God’s appointed time. Joshua served Moses while waiting on God’s time of release. Joseph still acknowledged Potiphar as his boss undisputed even though he controlled/managed the whole estate. A proper understanding of your present position and assignment helps you to position yourself well, discharge your duties faithfully and keeps you away from unnecessary heartaches, disappointments and anger.

The gifts of the Spirit, especially the prophetic is not given to be used as a vindictive tool. God is not obligated to let evil befall someone because you told them something God revealed to you and they did not believe it. He's not trying to massage your ego. The gifts and His purposes far outweighs your pettiness.
Different individuals respond to or receive revelation and prophetic words differently. Not everyone will be shaking and rolling on the floor like their world has ended when you give them a bad news or revelation concerning a calamity. On numerous occasions people have told me how they saw some evil planned against me. I listened and said thank you. There are others who have told me good news and I just listened and said same, thank you! I could see the disappointed looks sometimes and those who felt I was dismissive. But on each occasion, I acted(prayed) about it in my closet. On some occasions, I was already aware and they only confirmed what by God's grace I was aware of. But some, walked away disappointed hoping something will happen to prove to me, they are genuinely speaking by the inspiration of God or some just withdrew and became offended. These used to bother me too me I was a young christian and thought God should send fire to consume any/everyone who ever doubted any word I told by the Spirit of God. But then, the story of Jonah thought me that God has the final say in every issue and reserved absolute perogative to do whatever either fulfilled the word I speak on His behalf or decide to show mercy and reverse the punishment.
So, dear Prophet/Seer stop intimidating people and wishing evil befalls anyone who does not roll on the floor and ask you to step on them because you conveyed the mind of God to them either concerning the present or the past. You spoke the word. Let God do the rest. Shalom!

God made (intentionally and specifically) endowed you with honor/splendor/authority to have DOMINION over the works of His hands. He also intentionally put all things under your feet/authority. Whatever you say or command, the earth and everything in it must obey according to the word of God.

“You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet,”
