Last Friday, we had our last MBSM meeting for the year! We had so much fun playing 4 on a couch, ping pong, card games, & attempting to make paper airplanes! We celebrated two of our youth students, Elisabeth & Kathleen, graduating from high school & said goodbyes to Pastor Josh. It was a bittersweet evening! We are excited to see what God does in Pastor Josh, Elisabeth & Kathleen’s lives as they each enter into a new season of life! 🙌🏻

After 4 years of serving at Maranatha Baptist Church, the Williford family is moving back to their home state, Texas! Josh served as Maranatha’s Associate Pastor over the last few years & they have been a vital part of our church’s ministries. We are sad that they are leaving us, but are so excited for what God has in store for them on this new journey! Josh will be serving as the Pastor of Adult Ministries at Fredonia Hill Baptist Church in Nacogdoches, Texas! We will miss you, Williford family!

This semester we started, ROOTS, a survival style children’s program that includes studying the Bible & memorizing Bible verses! This program has been a great success, & we are going to continue this program starting on January 14th. We will also be opening up additional spots to anyone that may want to join! This program is for children currently in Kindergarden-5th grade. The cost is $100 which get them through June.
