Reformed Theological Seminary, New York City RTS New York City offers a Master of Arts (Biblical Studies) to prepare New Yorkers for ministry. RTS New York City (RTS NYC) hosted its first cohort in 2015.

Invited to NYC by Tim Keller and Redeemer City to City, students from many Bible-believing networks, ministries, and denominations thrive in preparation for ministry at RTS NYC. Dr. Ligon Duncan and Dr. Tim Keller teach annually in the program along with a combination of residential faculty (Dr. Bill Fullilove and Dr. Jay Harvey) and RTS faculty from other campuses. We offer courses on Tuesday and

This Week on Wisdom Wednesday, we're revisiting a favorite episode from the archives. Dr. Ligon Duncan, Chancellor and CEO of Reformed Theological Seminary, answers the question “How do I grow in my devotional life?”

Growing in devotion to God’s Word requires both desire and discipline. Dr. Duncan encourages believers to plan intentional time in Scripture, establish a consistent reading habit, and make use of reading plans and study tools that help guide steady engagement with the Bible. While many helpful resources exist, the most important step is simply to set aside time and commit to reading God’s Word faithfully.

At Reformed Theological Seminary, we serve students in many different phases of life. While a completed college degree is required to begin a master's degree program, many students choose to start seminary soon after graduation, while others come after years of ministry, work, or other vocational experience.

There is no single "right" timeline. The important question is not whether you are early or late, but whether the Lord is leading you to prepare more deeply for faithful service.
