A powerful earthquake with a magnitude of 7.6 hit the coast near Indonesia on Saturday, particularly in the Flores region, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre or EMSC.

According to EMSC, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers underground.

The global impact of declining immunization rates is already visible; between 2025 and 2026, seven countries—including the United Kingdom and Spain—lost their World Health Organization measles elimination status.
