Originally, the congregation was made up of primarily German, Irish and Italian immigrants and their families.

Once again, we will be participating in the 2026 Multi-Parish Raffle, sponsored by Catholic Parish Initiatives, a nationally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Since 2014, this raffle has helped parishes raise much needed charitable funds while promoting generosity and fellowship within parish communities. This year's raffle features 23 prizes totaling $68,000, and tickets went on sale this Spring. Drawing for prize is scheduled for July 18th at 8 pm. Ticket purchasers do not need to physically present for the drawing. It will be live streamed at parishraffle.com and the physical location of drawing will be at:

123 Garfield St. Newington, CT 06111

Tickets are available now by calling the parish Secretary at 917-261-6507, Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. Please return all physical tickets, sold or unsold, to the parish secretary. You can also purchase tickets online by scanning the QR code below. Thank You!

Una vez más, hemos sido invitados a participar en la rifa multiparroquial de 2026, patrocinada por Catholic Parish Initiatives, una organización sin fines de lucro 501(c)(3) reconocida a nivel nacional. Desde 2014, este sorteo ha ayudado a las parroquias a recaudar fondos de caridad muy necesarios y al mismo tiempo promover la generosidad y la fraternidad dentro de las comunidades parroquiales.
