Through this FaceBook page, we want to engage ministers and pastors in the work of developing men and women for whatever ministry God has planned for them. Under the jurisdiction of the United Missionary Baptist Association Moderator, the Rev. Dr. Allen Paul Weaver, Jr, the Auxiliary is focused on training and development for assistant, associate and support ministers, as well as ministers in trai

ning. Participants must be active members of UMBA-affiliated churches and have the support of their pastors. You may be a minister-in-training, licensed or ordained clergy. We meet on the second Monday in the months of January, February, March, May, June, September, November and December at various churches in Harlem, Bronx and Mt. Vernon. Meetings include a meal, worship, information sharing and instruction, and fellowship and networking. Monthly dues are $10 and there is an annual assessment. The John L. Scott Associate Ministers, we would like to congratulate our President, Reverend LaKisha N. Williams, on being recognized toady as one of the "Congress of Christian Education Honorees."

This honor was presented by the Empire Baptist Missionary Convention Inc., led by Convention President Rev. Dr. Elgin Joseph Taylor, Sr. The event took place today at the Joseph A. Floreano Rochester Riverside Convention Center.
