Are we truly in the Lord?

As believers we must all regularly examine ourselves to see if we are truly in the Lord as the apostle Paul warns us that "there will come a time that people will not adhere to sound Doctrine" but instead have "Itchy Ears"

Itching Ears: This phrase refers to people who want to hear only pleasant or novel things, rather than the true, challenging Word.
Rejecting Truth for Fables: Instead of listening to sound doctrine, individuals will turn away from the truth and follow "fables" or myths.

Based on 2 Corinthians 13:5, examining yourself to see if you are "in the Lord" means testing whether you are living in the faith and if Jesus Christ dwells within you. This involves assessing your trust in the gospel, your reliance on Christ for salvation, and evaluating your life for spiritual growth.

Some Key Aspects of Self-Examination (2 Corinthians 13:5) Test Your Faith: Evaluate whether your faith is truly in Jesus Christ and His finished work, rather than your own efforts.

1)Recognize Christ's Presence: Determine if Jesus is in you through the Holy Spirit.

2)Evaluate Life Changes: Look for evidence of walking in obedience, while recognizing that the test is about your relationship with Him, not perfect sinlessness.

3)Avoid Disqualification: The goal is to ensure you have not ignored or abandoned the faith, which would mean failing the test.

Beloved Paul challenges all believers to look inward and ensure they are not merely going through the motions, but are truly united with Christ 📖.

Do you sometimes feel as though you aren't making progress in your spiritual life? When God starts a project, he completes it! As with the Philippians, God will help you grow in grace until he has completed his work in your life. When you are discouraged, remember that God won't give up on you. He promises to finish the work he has begun. When you feel incomplete, unfinished, or distressed by your shortcomings, remember God's promise and provision. Don't let your present condition rob you of the joy of knowing Christ or keep you from growing closer to him.

Philippians 1:6 KJV
[6] being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

God I need you come in and change me, I drank at all the other streams of life but today I'm coming to you. In the middle of Chaos you sent a stream, in the middle of chaos you said let go and relax. In the middle of chaos you are the God of Jacob. I Surrender my life, I give my life to you. Come and change me today. In the middle of all that's going on I lift up my head and say God I need you in my life in Jesus name amen and amen🙏🏼

In Christian theology, Jesus as the "Son of God" signifies his divine nature, equality with God, and role as the Messiah. Conceived by the Holy Spirit, he is considered God manifested in human form—the exact representation of God's being—rather than a literal biological son. This title highlights his unique authority,,, and role in revealing the Father to humanity.
Key Aspects of Jesus as the Son of God:
Deity and Nature: The title implies that Jesus shares the same divine nature as God the Father, which was understood by contemporaries as a claim to be God.
The Trinity: In orthodox Christian, theology, Jesus is recognized as "God the Son," the second person of the Trinity, distinct from the Father but identical in essence.
Role as Messiah: The term highlights his position as the promised Savior, King, and Christ.
Revelation and Sacrifice: As the Son, Jesus perfectly reveals God’s character and love, serving as the mediator between God and humanity.
Biblical Evidence: The New Testament records this title being used by the Father (at baptism and Transfiguration.
While often associated with his incarnation, the title is also linked to his resurrection, which affirmed his divine status.
