Fourth Universalist Society in the City of New York We are a Unitarian Universalist congregation that welcomes people of diverse backgrounds and beliefs and is united by our commitment to love and justice.

Welcome to the Fourth Universalist Society in the City of New York! Fourth Universalist is a community gathered around love, liberation, and hope. We have no creeds or doctrine, so here you'll have the freedom to explore your own spiritual path and be true to yourself, guided always by justice and love. Here you'll find Christians and atheists, Jewish members and spiritual seekers, and many other belief systems, all gathered in community together. Together, we feel called to make a difference in the world, learn from each other, build a community for ourselves and our families, and wrestle with life’s deepest questions. Our congregation is a member of the Unitarian Universalist Association, a national union of over 1,000 congregations. We hope you'll join us for services any Sunday at 11am. You are always welcome!

Rev. Sara will be speaking on “The Stories We Tell and the People We Become.” Stories shape so much of the world around us - for better or worse. They can affirm our beliefs, inspire us to action, keep us in fear or champion isolation. In this service, we'll explore the curation of stories that move us vividly towards beloved community.

Get Out the Vote Postcarding Party - October 7th from 6-9pm

The future of our democracy depends on the vote. Join us in protecting our democracy by writing postcards to voters!

The postcards will notify Black voters in historic suppression states of the November election and give them information to help them vote. It’s democracy work and racial justice work in one effort.

The partners for this event are Fourth Universalist, Reclaim Our Vote, All Souls NYC, and the New York Society for Ethical Culture. Wine, beer, non-alcoholic drinks, and light snacks will be provided.

Lily is a graduate of Union Theological Seminary. Her day job is investigating NYPD officers who are accused of misconduct. Lily focuses her ministry on ecology, animal liberation, trans rights, and police reform.

We are writing postcards to notify Black voters in historic suppression states of the November election and give them information to help them vote. It’s democracy work and racial justice work in one effort.
