WHAT IS YOUR PURPOSE...? GOD INDEED CREATED YOU FOR A PURPOSE...Purpose? If you do not yet know what your purpose here on earth is, keep reading because you are about to find out.

We as Christians, hear so much about this simple 7 letter word, it is nothing fancy, it's more of a flying under the radar type of word, but oh how we wrestle with the definition... What does it mean? By definition, purpose means and end or a goal by which one strives for. Are we not all given a specific, highly individualized, purpose from God? What is our purpose? How do we begin to find out? What if I don't like my purpose? Can I get a raincheck, or trade mine in on a newer model, one that's a little shinier, one with more pizazz perhaps? Can we get a purpose on a trial basis to be changed out later at a more convenient day and time? Does God only give us 1 purpose each or do we get several? Does purpose stay consistant or is it constantly changing? Questions?? Tons!!! Some people will spend a lifetime in angst trying to figure out the confusion that lies within the unearthly answers to those elusive questions.

I'd like to think the answers are much less high tech than all of that, I actually think it's all quite simple but as humans we like to complicate everything, our minds are like a virtual spin class that goes 100 mph even on the steep hills, never yeilding, never stopping, always chasing something. We are always trying to "get it right". We think up all sorts of grandiose ideas about the type of lives and purposes we think we should be living.

We scheme out elaborate plans, calculated maps so to speak about how we will attain our countless goals.

Could it be possible that we, while earnestly seeking our elaborate purposes are actually missing the bigger picture? The real purpose?

I believe we all have the exact same purpose, all equal, fair and square, we all start with the same amount of chips on the game table. After all, God is no respecter of persons right? Acts 10: 34-35

So here it is, the answer you have been waiting for.

Our purpose is to love God... Period!! Yup, that's it.. Simple yet magnificent in God's eyes. We simply, are here to glorify Him, love Him unconditionally, unceasingly, and infinitely. We are to show others who He is through us. We are to set examples for others by walking in His love, and by living each day as if we are on an highly specialized assignment from God.

The very real, simple, mundane, tasks we do on a day to day basis, can exemplify His love and give us purpose. You are where you are on purpose so embrace each and every wonderful new day. Giving an encouraging smile, or a compliment, can change someone's whole day. Offering to help someone out, volunteering your time, or even cooking dinner for your family can be filled with purpose. Taking care of a scraped elbow or knee with a bandaid and a kiss, reading a beautiful bedtime story to your child as they fall asleep in your lap, these things have amazing value and purpose. Being a shoulder to cry on, a loving, accepting, spouse that does not always have to be right, being the person first to forgive, the first to say" I am sorry" these small day to day things all can change attitudes and lives and help you live deep in the midst of your God given purpose. Doing your job, your school work, your house work daily with pride and without complaining as if you are working for God, loving each other unconditionally, and being able to overlook the flaws and faults in ourselves and others is everyone's purpose. These are all ways that we show God how much we love Him. God does not expect perfection, He only expects us to try our very best. We need to be thankful every day for the opportunity to love and be loved. All of these tasks we do day in and day out without giving it much thought, is actually us living out our purpose here on earth. These are the things that matter, the things that count more than you could ever begin to imagine. These simple things, when all done in unison as one body of Christ can be the most amazing purpose fulfilled! The purpose of God smiling down on us and saying,"Job well done my good and faithful servant!"

Ecc 3:1

To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven.

Prov 19:21

Many plans are in a man's mind but it is the Lord's purpose for him that will stand

Psalm 16:11 “You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever.”

Jeremiah 29:11 “‘I know the plans I have for you,’ says the Lord. ‘They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.’”

Ephesians 2:10 “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”

Ephesians 3:20 “Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.”

Philippians 2:13 “For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.”

Romans 8:28 “We know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.”

John 10:10 “The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.”

Dear Lord help us to fulfil our purposes everyday and stay focused on the little things we can do daily to set an example for others. Help us to appreciate all that we have, and where we are right now. Thank you for loving us. We praise you in Jesus name. Amen!!

You’ve probably heard it countless times. Every time you sin, someone tells you that you need to repent again or you risk damaging your relationship with God. Before long, the Christian life starts feeling like an endless cycle of failure, apology, failure, apology, failure, apology. Instead of living in confidence, you begin living in constant self-examination, wondering if you’ve repented enough, confessed enough, or said the right words to keep things right between you and God.

That burden is exhausting because it places your focus on your ability to maintain fellowship instead of Christ’s ability to maintain His promises. The more you focus on yourself, the less assurance you experience. Every mistake feels bigger than it should. Every failure feels like a fresh threat to your peace. Instead of enjoying the finished work of Jesus, you feel trapped in a never-ending effort to repair something He already fixed.

The truth is that the New Covenant begins with a reality that is almost too good to be true. Hebrews 10:14 says that by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified. One offering. Not thousands of offerings. Not daily sacrifices. Not repeated payments. One sacrifice accomplished what generations of religious effort could never achieve.

When Jesus died on the cross, He was not dealing only with the sins you committed before you believed. Colossians 2:13-14 says that God forgave us all our trespasses and canceled the record of debt that stood against us. All means all. The cross was not surprised by your future failures. Jesus saw every day of your life before He ever went to Calvary.

This does not mean sin is harmless. Sin still hurts people. Sin still affects our thinking. Sin still robs us of peace when we believe lies. But the issue is no longer whether God has forgiven you. The issue is whether you believe what He has already done. First John 1:9 was never written to create a lifetime of fear. It reveals a God who is faithful and just because forgiveness is rooted in Christ’s finished work, not human performance.

Many people think repentance simply means repeatedly apologizing. Yet the biblical idea is much deeper. Repentance means a change of mind. It is turning from a lie to the truth. When a believer sins, the greatest need is not to earn forgiveness again. The greatest need is to remember who they already are in Christ and agree with what God says about them.

Romans 8:1 declares that there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Notice that Paul did not say there is no condemnation unless you forget to repent quickly enough. He simply points believers to their position in Christ. The verdict has already been rendered. Jesus already carried the condemnation.

Think about your own children for a moment. When they make a mistake, they do not stop being your children. Their identity remains secure even when their behavior falls short. In the same way, your failures do not cause God to remove you from His family. Ephesians 1:7 says that in Christ we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses. Not we might have. We have.

The enemy loves keeping believers focused on themselves because self-focus produces insecurity. The Holy Spirit points believers toward Jesus because Christ-focus produces peace. One voice says, “Look at what you did.” The other says, “Look at what Jesus did.” One produces fear. The other produces freedom.

The beautiful reality of the Gospel is that Jesus did not come to create anxious Christians constantly wondering whether they are forgiven. He came so that believers could live in confidence before the Father. Hebrews 4:16 says we can approach the throne of grace with confidence. Confidence is impossible when you believe your standing with God rises and falls every day. Confidence becomes natural when you realize your standing is anchored in Christ.

The next time someone tells you that your relationship with God depends on repeatedly earning back what Jesus already purchased, lift your eyes to the cross. The blood of Jesus was sufficient. The sacrifice of Jesus was sufficient. The forgiveness of Jesus was sufficient. Your peace is not found in how perfectly you apologize. Your peace is found in a Savior who declared, “It is finished.” And if it is finished, then you can stop carrying the burden of trying to finish what Jesus already completed.

INTENTIONAL PRAYER
The strength of your spirit is directly proportionate to the consistency of your prayer life.

About a year ago, the Lord gave me a vision. In the vision, I saw myself in the middle of darkness. There was nothing around me. I was just floating in a void.
Within me, I could see a glowing, pulsing white orb of light. The ball of flickering brightness would grow and shrink. Resting over the orb was a layer of dirt. And upon the layer of dirt stood tiny structures that looked like buildings.
When the orb of light would shrink, the layer of dirt would collapse and become uneven. That caused the structures on the dirt to fall over. But whenever the orb of light would grow, the layer of dirt would become even and smooth,
causing the structures to stand upright. The orb would shrink and grow, back and forth. The shrunken orb produced chaos, while the grown orb produced order .

Then the Holy Spirit revealed the meaning of the vision to me. The structures represented my responsibilities and concerns in everyday life—my family, the ministry, my finances, my health, my emotions, my mental state, and so forth.
They were what collapsed and fell over whenever the layer of dirt became uneven. The layer of dirt represented me—or my life itself. It became an unstable foundation whenever the orb of light would shrink. Finally, the orb of
light represented my prayer life.
So whenever my prayer life was intact, so was I, and I was able to handle the responsibilities of life. But, in the vision, whenever my prayer life suffered, so did every aspect of my life.
Your prayer life is the strength of your spiritual life, the foundation for your ministry, and the safeguard for your character. Everything you will ever be or do for God is directly affected by your prayer life. If you do anything at all to begin each day, pray. If any man or woman is not strengthened by the grace of daily prayer, he or she will crumble under the weight of life’s heavier realities.

Everything you will ever be or do for God is directly affected by your prayer life.

We mustn’t be too busy to pray; we must be intentional about prayer. Time is scarce, so some imagine that prayer can be a setback. However, you can accomplish more in a prayer-filled day than you can in a prayer-less week. There is effort that must be applied to intentional prayer, and that effort is worth putting forth. We must learn the discipline of the disconnect. Prayer is a partnership between God and man. If you will climb the mountain, God will meet you. We see such a partnership in the life of Moses.

Then Moses climbed up the mountain, and the cloud covered it (Exodus 24:15).

If you will climb the mountain, God will cover the mountain. If you will cultivate the atmosphere, God will manifest His presence.

Intentional prayer is about setting time, place, and atmosphere. Even Jesus was intentional about atmosphere. Think of the fact that Jesus didn’t aimlessly wander the streets at random. He was intentional about His ministry. Yes, we
understand that Jesus worked miracles in the “marketplaces” of the regions He visited, and He even ministered in homes. But do you know where Jesus was for the most part? He was in the temple. He said so Himself.
Why didn’t you arrest me in the Temple? I was there among you teaching every day. But these things are happening to fulfill what the Scriptures say about me (Mark 14:49).

The ministry strategy for Jesus was simple: He would teach in the Temple, heal the sick, and cast out demons. He picked a location that would cultivate focus on what He was saying and doing. We must apply to our prayer lives what Jesus applied to His ministry—atmosphere.
This doesn’t mean that the physical building or room is the key to prayer that’s religious superstition. And I’m not saying that God only visits certain places and events. He’s in you, so you don’t need to chase atmospheres.
There is a major difference between chasing an atmosphere and cultivating an atmosphere. Understand that as a carrier of the glory, you are an atmosphere. So I don’t mean that you should chase atmospheres, as if you don’t carry God’s presence. I mean that you should cultivate atmospheres because you carry God’s
presence. Only those without God’s presence have to chase atmospheres; only those with God’s presence can cultivate atmospheres. The purpose of chasing an atmosphere is to find God.

The purpose of cultivating an atmosphere is to better focus on God. We don’t create atmospheres to bring God’s presence closer; we create atmospheres to better focus on Him.
Only those without God’s presence have to chase atmospheres;only those with God’s presence can cultivate atmospheres.
So there is a need to find a place of solitude when you pray. We all must find a place of our own, somewhere that we can establish an atmosphere. That is a key component of intentional prayer, a key component of your prayer life in general. Once you have a setting where you can pray, your attention becomes
focused.
Intentional prayer is the discipline that deepens all other spiritual practices.
Intentional prayer is foundational to any prayer life.

RETURN TO INDIA 🔥🔥
T.L. and Daisy Osborn were preaching all over the world; but finally their special dream came true–they returned to India. They went back to the same city, where they had talked to those Muslims and Hindus and had not been able to prove whether the Koran of the Muslims or the Bible of the Christians was God’s Word. This time it was different. They leased a big, open field by the huge stadium in the University City of Lucknow. They set up their platform and invited the public to come.
Daisy shared that “those people had not changed. The situation had not changed. But WE had changed. Our thinking had been changed. Our lives had been changed. We knew God would fulfill His Word.”

Fourteen years earlier, a disillusioned and defeated twosome had returned from India to the U. S. They had said, “There is no use for us to stay here if we cannot prove to these people that Jesus is alive.” Feeling ineffective as gospel ministers, not managing to prove what they preached, they had found no reason to stay in India. So they came back home to the United States. But now they were back again; and, as T. L. related, “Ido not think that we had ever seen greater miracles than we saw in that crusade.”

Fifty to sixty thousand people were in attendance. T. L. and Daisy proclaimed to the masses that Jesus is the Son of God, risen from the dead–and this time they knew how to prove to the people that Jesus Christ is alive. As a result, great faith was evidenced in the India crusades.

Steeped in Religion, Knowing Nothing About the Living Savior. T. L. described an old Hindu holy man who stood right in front of the platform, not three feet from him in a dirt-smeared robe. His long, squalid beard and his frizzled hair shroud desperate, inquiring eyes. Yellow paint was smeared on his forehead. Mixed mud and dust covered his face and hair. In his right hand was a large Neptune spear that he guarded as his staff.
T. L. commented, “What a joy to give out the powerful gospel message to people like this dear man, steeped in religion and knowing nothing about the living Savior.”
The first to be healed was an elderly Hindu man, carrying two crutches above his head. His long hair and beard were flowing. For five years he had been crippled. Now he paraded back and forth. By that time, another older man with a large red turban came bounding across the platform, completely healed, as well.
Hip-to-Ankle Brace. Crippled by polio, Shanti Sundram could only walk with a hip-to-ankle brace and one leg was three inches shorter than the other. She was perfectly healed. A man, whose foot and leg were crippled, had walked on one side of his foot which was turned directly inward with the ankle twisted over. Both feet were healed and became perfectly straight.
Blind. Two men who were blind found their way to the crusade together. Both were healed.
Crawled in the Wood to Die. A little Hindu woman, clad in dirty cloth, testified in tears. She would praise Jesus, then place her open palms together and bow to T. L. in East Indian fashion. Then she would reverently touch T. L.’s feet and repeat, again and again, her thanks. She had been a beggar and a disease had so drained her strength that she could no longer beg, so she had crawled into the wood to die. Her children and her husband were dead. She was left alone to beg. She would say how thankful she was that she was no longer in the bushes, sick and hungry. Now Jesus was her friend, and she was healed. “Now I have strength so I can beg again. Now I am not sick and weak anymore. I can talk loud enough to ask for alms and get some coins for some rice to eat.”
“Frog Man” Beggar. Crippled by polio when he was a lad, there was a man who could never move about except by scooting on his hips. He was called the “frog man” beggar because he could only walk in a squatting position, like a frog.
T. L. related, “He was instantly healed, and we almost lost control of the multitude when the people saw him walking and running like anyone else. Thousands of people knew him. Hundreds of people were miraculously healed in that powerful meeting.”
The Hindu Who Saw Jesus. One night during the Lucknow, India, crusade, far to the edge of the crowd there was a young student from the university–an agnostic–who hated everything that T. L. and Daisy were saying about Jesus Christ. He was a fanatical member of the religious political party of India that had vowed to drive Christianity from its shores.
He stood with his arms defiantly folded across his chest. He later reported that as the missionaries preached about Jesus, suddenly the Lord appeared right in front of him. Jesus opened His hands where the man could see His scars, and then stretched them out toward him. Then Jesus spoke these words, “Behold my hands! I am Jesus!”
The student fell to the ground in the dust, weeping and crying. After regaining control of himself, he came running to the platform, grabbed the microphone with trembling hands, and appealed to the multitude: “Accept this Jesus! What this man is telling us is true! I saw Him! I saw the scars in His hands! He is alive!”
Thousands of people that night, believed on Jesus Christ following this. Blind people, lepers, deaf mutes, cripples, invalids carried on cots, and all kinds of sicknesses were healed.

WE ALL HAVE WORK TO DO FOR THE LORD... WE ARE CALLED TO BE LIKE JESUS!

In reading in Thessalonians, Paul and his companions were very faithful to bring the gospel to The Thessalonians in the midst of their persecution. They had only recently become Christians, and yet they had remained completely faithful to the Lord, despite the fact that the apostles were not there with them. Others have also been faithful in bringing God’s word to us no matter the persecution ...We must always try to remain faithful and live in the expectation that Christ will return at any time… We must be vigilant and ready for his return…

No matter what is going on we must keep our eyes on Jesus and the eternal life that we will have with Him in the kingdom of HEAVEN . The Holy Spirit helps us to remain strong in our faith and enables us to show genuine love to others and maintain a moral character even when we are being persecuted, slandered or oppressed… Even if it’s in our own families. We mustn’t pick up the bait, the offenses that cause strife and persecution… The apostle Paul reminds us that many are the afflictions of the righteous, that we will be persecuted… this is not a question of “if “but “when” ....So just know if you’re in the midst of persecution right now… You are doing something right for Jesus!

We must daily try to be who we were created to be in Christ… We’re not just here to live an ordinary life. We are not here to go through the day in and day out mundane routines of life... WE ARE ON A MISSION FROM GOD!
Even as I write this I feel as though many people say, “is this all there is? “… Mainly just go through the motions of life trying to resemble some sort of happiness or content… The uneasiness you feel, and what you are looking for, is what you were destined and purposed to do here on earth!

Paul not only delivers his messages to the Thessalonians but he gave of himself everywhere he went ...in our lives we must become like Paul – faithful and bold, yet sensitive and self-sacrificing. We must see people through the eyes and heart of Jesus...

Hurt people, hurt people! Many times we see the hearts that people have suffered being projected onto others and they hurt them in the same manner that they have been hurt...

The Holy Spirit changes people when they believe the good news. When we tell others about Christ, we must depend on the Holy Spirit to open their eyes and convince them that they need salvation. God‘s power – not our own cleverness or persuasion – changes people. Without the work of the Holy Spirit, our words are meaningless. The Holy Spirit not only convicts people of sin but also assures them of the truth of the good news.

Many times if we stop and pray for someone before we pick up an offense we will begin to see that Jesus loves that person too and he would’ve died if that was the only person on earth.

We must put on our full armor of God take our sword of God’s Word, the truth, and fight the good fight of faith. NO MATTER WHAT..

If we believe in Christ, we will live with him forever. If we keep that in our minds no matter what is going on..knowing and understanding that our time here is very short and fleeting, we will begin to understand our purpose here is for greater things than just daily routines...but ultimately we are all looking to eternity… our hearts are connected spiritually to Jesus and supernaturally we are always searching for our home which is heaven.
We will spend billions of years without end ,living life with JESUS In paradise!
All those who belong to Jesus Christ, from throughout history, will be present with him at his second coming. We can be confident that we will be with our loved ones who have gone before us and who have trusted in Christ.

The Gospel… The good news… Is not only what we believe but also what we must live… No matter how hard and no matter our feelings… We must keep moving in our godly appointed missions. The Holy Spirit will lead us in our faithfulness… Let’s let him be our guide, so that we can avoid all evil.

We must live as though we expect Christ return at anytime and never be caught unprepared!

No one knows the exact time of Christ’s return. But we are to live moral and holy lives, ever watchful for his coming. As believers we must not neglect daily responsibilities to love and to serve others… The greatest commandment… Love others as yourself… We must always work and live to please the Lord.

We must keep our eyes on Jesus and keep this as our mindset… Living to please the Lord!
You will then be living your mission and your purpose and the mundane will simply fall away!

Ask God to give you a burden to love others, to love the unlovable. God can help you avoid strife and to pray for those who have hurt you!
Praise God in the storms of life, thank God for strong faith and ask him for strength for each and every day… He goes before us, he makes the crooked places straight… He already knows what tomorrow holds because he’s already there.. he has already written your timeline… Let’s walk it out by faith, walk in the spirit... let’s put down our own agendas and to-do lists And live a life boldly in the fullness of all God made you to be!...

If you don’t know what that is… Just ask God!!!!

Meditate on his word, ask for revelation of his plan for your life… And before long you will be walking and living in it!!

Matthew 28:19-20
19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

1Thess 4:14
For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died

1 Thessalonians 1:1-7 New International Version (NIV)
1 letter from Paul, Silas and Timothy,

To the church of the Thessalonians in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ:

Grace and peace to you.

2 We always thank God for all of you and continually mention you in our prayers. 3 We remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hopein our Lord Jesus Christ.

4 For we know, brothers and sisters[b] loved by God, that he has chosen you, 5 because our gospel came to you not simply with words but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and deep conviction. You know how we lived among you for your sake. 6 You became imitators of us and of the Lord, for you welcomed the message in the midst of severe suffering with the joy given by the Holy Spirit. 7 And so you became a model to all the believers in Macedonia and Achaia.
