Bach Vespers welcomes back Morgan Mastrangelo, tenor, as the featured soloist in “Ich armer Mensch, ich Sündenknecht”, Bach’s deeply personal and moving solo cantata for tenor.

Praised by OperaWire for his “fascinating and flexible tone,” Mastrangelo brings emotional depth to this intimate work, accompanied by chamber orchestra under the direction of Austin Philemon.

The service opens with Bach’s radiant motet “Lobet den Herrn, alle Heiden”, performed by the Bach Vespers Choir.
