Inspired by the biblical Hebrew name “Bethlehem” that means, “house of bread”, the new fellowship residence and church was named the “International House of Bread Christian Center (IHOBCC”). Pastor Mark Ayo Fatukasi, assumed pastoral leadership and became the Pastor of the new Church establishment. Pastor Mark is now assisted by Pastor Sylvester Otasowie. It is an assembly of the people of God, a
congregation of Christ’s disciples founded on Christ’s principles and commandments. IHOBCC members are Christians, who strive to emulate and reproduce the character of Jesus Christ. The IHOBCC Church is the body of Christ. As Church, it is a corporate representation of Christ with a mission of preaching his message. IHOBCC members are Christ’s ambassadors. Implicitly they are heralds of Christ’s message of salvation. They are in the business of preaching the uncompromised message of Christ’ salvation. International House of bread Christian Center (IHOBCC) membership is a composition of personalities from different nations, traditions and cultures. These personalities bring to the fellowship their individual talents and spiritual gifts respectively. “There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men” (1 Corinthians 12:4-6, NIV). The cultural diversity, the wealth of spiritual gifts and talents, essentially complement the internationality of fellowship at IHOBCC.
