Congregation Beth El of Manhattan We are an "unaffiliated Conservative" Two-Testament Synagogue in New York City's Upper East Side since 1993. It is in this sense our Judaism is "Messianic."

Jewish people, along with "People of Calling" not born Jewish, and InterFaith marriages, have come together in Manhattan to observe and celebrate, pray and worship. We embrace historic Scriptural Judaism, inclusive of New Testament faith in Yeshua (Jesus) of Nazareth as the Suffering Messiah.

Offered during our in-person hiatus, as we continue prayerfully to explore what is ahead for this 33-year work of God in "The City" -- in Jerusalem, South Africa, Peru, Brussels, Australia, Nigeria, Los Angeles, Texas … and all places to which God has allowed it to reach. Shabbat Shalom & Hag Sameakh!

The essential prayer of the Erev Yom Kippur observance. A plea for God to forgive our human frailty even extending to false oaths made out of fear. We thank God for our Atonement made by the Messiah Yeshua (Isaiah 52/John 17:3). A Yom Tov and Easy, Meaningful Fast to all.

A reminder that Beth El will NOT be holding live, in-person Yom Kippur Services at our Building this year, as we are still in an extended hiatus to consider and configure if and how to proceed with future operation, both online and in person. With the Rabbi just back from Israel consulting, conferring, and praying with Israeli leaders about these things, there will be much to share in the near future. May you have a meaningful and easy fast. Shanah Tovah & G'mar Chatimah Tovah!
