Clarence B. Jones, civil rights attorney and MLK confidant, has died at 95. He helped draft the 'I Have a Dream' speech, smuggled King's 'Letter from Birmingham Jail' out of prison, and argued landmark First Amendment cases.

After King's assassination, he went on to become the first Black allied member of the NYSE, negotiate during the Attica prison uprising, and teach at Stanford. In 2024, he received the Presidential Medal of Freedom. One of the last architects of the Civil Rights Movement — gone, but not forgotten.
