And God’s Medicines to Heal What We Have Allowed to Become Sick

A teaching series born from THINKING OUT LOUD, where our Apostle Dr. Carlos R. Torres will lead us in confronting five patterns that, when left unrecognized and uncorrected, can affect our character, marriage, family, relationships, leadership, ministry, and purpose:

Excuses • Pride • Self-Deception • Bitterness • Isolation

The purpose of this series is not to teach us how to identify what is wrong with everyone else. It is to allow the Word of God to first place us in front of the mirror and lead us from confrontation to responsibility, from responsibility to healing, and from healing to restoration.

When We Stop Being Accountable to Reality

This Sunday, we will begin with a question that can confront every one of us:

Am I using my circumstances to explain what happened, or am I using them to avoid the part of the responsibility that belongs to me?

From Adam and Eve to Cain, David, and the teachings of the New Testament, we will see how excuses can prevent us from acknowledging what needs to change. But we will also discover the biblical medicine:

TRUTH → RESPONSIBILITY → CONFESSION → REPAIR → RESTORATION

¿Estoy utilizando mis circunstancias para explicar lo ocurrido, o las estoy utilizando para evitar la parte de responsabilidad que me corresponde?

Desde Adán y Eva hasta Caín, David y las enseñanzas del Nuevo Testamento, veremos cómo la excusa puede impedirnos reconocer lo que necesita cambiar, pero también descubriremos la medicina bíblica:

VERDAD → RESPONSABILIDAD → CONFESIÓN → REPARACIÓN → RESTAURACIÓN
