OUR PASTOR
The Reverend Dr. Flora Wilson Bridges

The historic Rendall Memorial Presbyterian Church installed the Reverend Dr. Flora Wilson Bridges as its first woman pastor. She is a native of Bainbridge, Georgia and grew up on Chicago’s South Side. She is an ordained Presbyterian minister in the New York City Presbytery. Dr. Wilson Bridges graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science in Communications; Yale Divinity School with a Master of Arts in Religion; and Vanderbilt University with a Ph.D. Prior to her relocation to New York, she served as the former Speghar-Halligan Professor of Ecumenical Collaboration in Inter-Religious Dialogue at Seattle University in the Graduate School of Theology and Ministry and pastor of the Madrona Presbyterian Church. She also formerly served as Dean of the Chapel and Instructor of Religion at Spelman College and interim Dean of the Chapel at Fisk University. PLAN YOUR VIRTUAL VISIT ON ZOOM

THE END OF WORSHIP AT RENDALL CHURCH ON ASH WEDNESDAY

The people come forward for the Imposition of Ashes. The worship service ends as we line up to receive ashes on our foreheads before we take the Lord's Supper and leave the sanctuary to begin the 40 day and night journey into Lent.
