Queensborough Community College has an awesome and outstanding Hillel Club with outstanding catered food, Rabbis, and events. The program appeals to all Jews no matter how religious or not religious they are. They have a very diverse crowd which includes everyone from the totally Yeshivish to the unaffiliated. It is totally Orthodox run with a focus on important Torah topics. It is also an opportu
nity for college students to meet each other if they wish to, in a controlled, warm, and friendly environment, without the hang-out. The Hillel club partners with Rabbi Akiva Rutenberg of EMET, who adds a great dynamic to this program. The club is run by Professor Reuven Zahavy of the Math Department. The students appreciate them and grow from their efforts. The club meets almost every Wednesday in SCIENCE BLDG 223 . An outstanding catered free lunch, sometimes sponsored by EMET and Kosher Chef Productions, is served. Awesome Shabbatonim are planned. They require your donations and community support.
