The big announcement: we’re going to Washington DC!

Join us for the Our Lady of Sorrows Witness for Our Immigrant Neighbors.

Sorrow is the feeling that brought us together as a group. Sorrow not unlike our Blessed Lady’s sorrow. And we want to bring that sorrow directly to Congress to call for humane and dignified treatment of all people- especially immigrants, migrants, and refugees.

So call your friends, talk to your priest, pack a van, and join us. All are welcome.

Ms. Koko Kondo, a hibakusha (survivor of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima) will be visiting our Community at the House of Solidarity on Wednesday April 29th at 6:30 PM. 

Koko is a dear friend of our Community, having participated in the International Prayer for Peace, and is a tireless advocate for peace in a world defined more and more by force. She will share her story with us, along with her hopes for a peaceful world that we can all build together.
