In the aftermath of one of the most cataclysmic earthquakes in history. Children frightened, freezing and hungry; elderly in need of medicine; faces wrought with despair; unimaginable suffering, and supplies scarce – these are the words of Franciscan Friars in Turkey and Syria responding to this humanitarian crisis of epic proportions.

The Franciscan Relief Fund was established in 2020 to provide food and other assistance to people during times of natural disaster, disease, war, poverty and unemployment.

Please help to support the more than 2 million people served by the Friars each year with food, clothing, medical necessities, shelter, education and residential housing. Help us educate young Friars who will be able to bring the Gospel to the rapidly changing world. Donate for room, board and intern expenses. Support the sick and elderly Friars who have served so many for so long and are now in need of care themselves. They have given their lives in service to so many while preaching the word of God.
