Jesus isn’t afraid of your past.

In ancient times, touching something impure meant becoming impure yourself. Uncleanness always won. It felt like a game where the rules were stacked against you.

A lot of us still live with that same fear today, carrying the weight of past mistakes or feeling permanently marked.

But Jesus completely flipped the script. When He reached out and touched the l***r in Mark 1, He didn't become contaminated. Instead, His purity washed away the impurity, restoring a man who hadn't been embraced in years.

Jesus doesn't keep His distance from our brokenness. He steps into our exact circumstance to heal, restore, and cleanse us from the inside out.

Feeling misunderstood, overwhelmed, or like you’re constantly fighting for control?

Psalm 17 points us to a place of true security: living under “the shadow of his wings.” A life covered by God’s grace and held firmly in his hands will never be destroyed. It might get uncomfortable, and life will still bring challenges, but you will never walk through it alone.

You don’t have to carry the weight of your circumstances by yourself. Rest in his care today.
