Dr. Robert Thurman was greatly respected in both the scholarly and religious Buddhist communities. We extend our deep condolences to his family, friends, colleagues and sangha; and to the Tibetan community to whom he was devoted. Namu Amida Butsu 🙏

Join our Eastern District friends at Seabrook Buddhist Temple on July 18 to celebrate Obon in NJ !

Save the date for our Obon Festival on July 18th. You can learn the Obon dances with the Seabrook Minyo Dance Group on Sunday, June 7th at 1pm, Sunday, June 28th at 1pm and Wednesday, July 8th at 6pm. All dance practice will be at the Temple social hall. We hope you will join in the dancing at Obon!
