“For seven years, New Hope Church has been a lively and loving community presence in Harlem.

Yesterday, New Hope held its last Sunday service, reflecting on how faithful the Lord has been thus far, and celebrating the hope and joy we have in what is yet to come.

May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us;
    establish the work of our hands for us—
    yes, establish the work of our hands.

Boldness isn’t a solo sport.

This Sunday we looked at Acts 4 — after Peter and John were threatened and released, they didn’t retreat alone. They went back to their people, and together they raised their voices in prayer. Not asking God to remove the threat. Asking Him to make them bold.

Community isn’t just a vibe or a brand. It’s built through honesty, obligation, and showing up — Sunday after Sunday — until we become one people with one voice, pursuing God together.

That’s what we’re building here. 🤍
