Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church Our vision: We will be Christ's light, leaven and salt in New York City and beyond.

Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church is a landmark church in midtown Manhattan, distinguished for our longstanding ministries to the homeless and the homebound, our diverse adult, youth and children's education programs, and a rich tradition in music and the fine arts. The congregation was founded in 1808 and has been worshiping and serving at the current location since 1875. We are a vibrant, diverse, inclusive congregation of 2,000 members, part of the Presbyterian Church (USA).

More than 70 members of our community took part in Fifth Avenue Serves—our annual day of service.

Thank you for making 250 sandwiches for A Place at the Table, assembling 200 hygiene kits for our unhoused neighbors, cooking and delivering meals through Meals on Heels, writing letters of encouragement to detained immigrant families, and praying with members in need across New York City.

Thank you for being Christ’s hands and feet in the world. Learn more about how you can get involved at fapc.org/outreach.

“We know the sort of things that happen in Kirkland Chapel. Holy things.” ✨

On Sunday, May 3, Kirkland Chapel reopened after a two-year landmark renovation. It was a day of joy and awe.

We are so grateful to all the skilled and generous hands that made this restoration possible. Thank you.
