👉 Just as you can deconstruct your kitchen walls to become open concept without tearing the whole house down, you can deconstruct certain cultural aspects of the Christianity you grew up with, without tearing the whole thing down. Deconstruction doesn’t have to lead to a destruction of your faith, but to its reconstruction.

All of us have Demas’ in our lives who have walked away from the faith and chances are that you might be Demas himself. Missed Pastor Aaron sermon on “Deconstructing Demas’ Deconstruction” this past Sunday? Link in bio. 🔥

Get ready for HFNY Sunday - an annual "spotlight" on our church's mercy ministry in NYC through our partnership with Hope for New York (HFNY), a non-profit that strengthens other Christian non-profits in our city through grants, volunteer networks, and training programs. We'll be donating a portion of our Sunday offering to this Sunday. Here's what else you can expect:

1) A Q&A with Sally Han and Edward Sirya from . Restore NYC helps survivors of trafficking through trauma counseling, economic empowerment, and housing.

2) ’s Pastor Edwin Colon will be our guest preacher. Next Step serves people in need in their local community through worship and services like a food pantry, mobile shower, and mother/baby resources.

3) staff members along with Sally and Ed will be available after service for folks to meet and chat with about getting involved in volunteering and giving in NYC.

See you this Sunday .nyc 👌

If God loved a massive city like Nineveh because of all the people, he loves as well. Yet, oftentimes, we either tend to disdain or romanticize the city, rather than truly loving it. But if you love people, you will love the city they live in because if the city thrives, the people will too.

Our Pastor Aaron preached an incredible word on our anniversary Sunday on loving our city. If you missed it - link in bio.
