The fourth candle (The Angels Candle) of advent is lit the Sunday before Christmas. Leading us to eagerly await for the birth of our Savior.

The final candle of Advent represents Love. It reminds us that God is love.

But the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid; for see — I am bringing you good news of great joy for all the people: to you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign for you: you will find a child wrapped in bands of cloth and lying in a manger.’” (Luke 2:10-12)

The third candle of Advent symbolizes Joy. As we continue to approach Christmas Day, our joy grows more and more.

Good Sunday Morning, BCPC

We light the second Advent candle today, representing PEACE - the 'Bethlehem Candle.'

This reminds us of Mary and Joseph's journey from Nazareth to Bethlehem before Jesus birth.

Join Pastor Clive Neil at 10 a.m. in-person or online for worship, including the Advent candle lighting.
