When we think children who have been disobedient to their parents and where chastised by them. If they continued to not to adhere to the chastisement they ended up on the road of destruction. As Pastor Sandy used the scripture that talks about whom the Lord loves he chastens. There where times when i was hard headed and the Lord had to chastise me a few times until i finally healed and realized I don't belong to myself. If we don't allow God to chasten us we will eventually end down the road of self destruction. Proverbs 14;12 MSG;There’s a way of life that looks harmless enough;
look again—it leads straight to hell.
Sure, those people appear to be having a good time,
but all that laughter will end in heartbreak.
