Երեքշաբթի, 15 Սեպտեմբերի երեկոյեան, Թեմիս բարեջան Առաջնորդ՝ Գերշ. Տ. Անուշաւան Արքեպիսկոպոս, մասնակցեցաւ Ամերիկայի Հայ Դատի Յանձնախումբի կազմակերպած երկօրեայ «Արցախ՝ արդարութիւն, ազատութիւն, վերադառնալու իրաւունք» ծրագրի փակման հանդիսութեան ԱՄՆ-ի Գոնկրէսին մէջ։

«Արցախ անցեալ չէ, Արցախ պատմութիւն չէ», ըսաւ Առաջնորդ Սրբազան Հայրը, որ յիշեցուց, թէ օրեր առաջ, Հ.Ե.Դ.ի մարզիկներուն յայտնած էր՝ 92-րդ ողիմպիականներու բացման հանդիսութեան, թէ անոնք եկած էին նաեւ «աշխարհին ըսելու, թէ մենք Հայաստան ենք ու մենք Արցախ ենք, եւ աշխարհի մէջ ոյժ չկայ, որ այս միտքը կարենայ հանել մեր սրտերէն, մեր մտքերէն, մեր կեանքերէն»։

Յիշեցնելով «Կուկունեանի երգ»ի այն տողերը, երբ ալեկոծ ծովուն վրայ մակոյկը կը վտանգուի, բայց երգիչը կը մերժէ յուսահատիլ, Սրբազան Հայրը ըսաւ. «Այս աշխարհի ամենէն զօրեղ ուժանիւթը յոյսն է։ Յոյսը ամենամեծ ուժն է, սիրելի եղբայրներ եւ քոյրեր»։

On Tuesday, September 15, His Eminence Archbishop Anoushavan, Prelate, participated in the closing event of “Accountability | 2026 – Artsakh: Justice. Freedom. Right of Return,” a Capitol Hill program organized by the Armenian National Committee of America, during which a dozen Representatives demanded that Azerbaijan release Armenian hostages held in Baku.

“Artsakh is not history, Artsakh is not the past,” the Prelate said. He recounted telling athletes at this year’s 92nd AYF Olympics in New Jersey that they had come not only for the games but “to say to the world that we are Armenia and we are Artsakh, and there is no power in this world that can take from our hearts, from our minds, from our lives, this understanding.”

His Eminence turned to “Sarkis Gugunian’s Song,” in which a lifeboat breaks apart in a stormy sea and the waves rise to sink it, and the singer refuses to surrender hope. “The most powerful energy in this world is hope,” the Prelate said. “Hope is the greatest power, my dear brothers and sisters.”

Անուշաւան Արքեպիսկոպոս, ներկայ գտնուեցաւ գանատահայ դաշնակահար եւ երգահան Սերուժ Գրաճեանի եւ անոր նուագախումբի համերգին։ Համերգին յատկապէս հրաւիրուած էր հայրենի ծանօթ ջութակահար Սամոէլ Երուինեան։ Ներկայացուեցաւ հայ դասական ու ժողովրդական եւ միջազգային երաժշտութեանմբ հարուստ ու գրաիիչ յայտագիր մը։
His Eminence Archbishop Anoushavan, Prelate, attended a concert by Armenian-Canadian pianist and composer Serouj Kradjian and his band, featuring Armenian violinist Samvel Yervinyan, on the evening of September 11, in a tribute to Armenian and world music on a day charged with emotional significance. The ensemble offered a powerful program of works arranged to blend jazz, tango, and classical and popular Armenian music.

Հինգշաբթի, 10 Սեպտեմբերի երեկոյեան, Թեմիս բարեջան Առաջնորդ՝ Գերշ. Տ. Անուշաւան Արքեպիսկոպոս, մասնակցեցաւ 11 Սեպտեմբեր, 2001-ի ողբերգութեան 25-ամեակին նուիրուած հսկումին՝ Ս. Թովմաս եպիսկոպոս եկեղեցւոյ մէջ (Նիւ Եորք), ուր աղօթք մը կարդաց՝ յատկապէս նուիրուած զոհերուն։
On Thursday, September 10, in the evening, His Eminence attended the Vigil Service at St. Thomas Church in New York, delivering a prayer written especially for the victims of the attacks of September 11, 2001.

Լուսաւորիչ Մայր Եկեղեցւոյ հոգեւոր հովիւ, եւ Բարեշնորհ Պետրոս Սրկ. Գալայճեանի, մասնակցեցաւ Ս. Նիկողայոս յունական ուղղափառ եկեղեցւոյ մէջ միջ-եկեղեցական աղօթքին։ Խօսք առին Յոյն Ուղղափառ Եկեղեցւոյ Ամերիկայի Առաջնորդ՝ Էլփիտոֆորոս Արքեպիսկոպոս, Նիւ Եորքի քաղաքապետ Զոհրան Մամտանի, ինչպէս նաեւ քաղաքիս պետական ծառայութիւններու եւ յոյն համայնքի անձնաւորութիւններ, որոնք իրենց վկայութիւնները տուին 11 Սեպտեմբեր, 2001-ի աղէտալի դէպքերուն մասին։

On Friday, September 11, at 3:00 p.m., His Eminence Archbishop Anoushavan, Prelate, accompanied by Archpriest Fr. Mesrob Lakissian, Pastor of St. Illuminator’s Cathedral, and Deacon Bedros Kalayjian, participated in the ecumenical prayer service at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church.

Remarks were delivered by Archbishop Elpidophoros, Primate of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America; New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani; as well as officials from the city’s public services and members of the Greek community, who shared their testimonies about the tragic events of September 11, 2001.

On Friday, September 11, His Eminence Archbishop Anoushavan, Prelate, presided over the memorial service on the 25th anniversary of the tragic events of 9/11.

Կիրակի, 6 Սեպտեմբերին, Ս. Վարդանանց եկեղեցւոյ (Ռիճֆիլտ, Նիւ Ճըրզի) Սուրբ Պատարագէն ետք, Թեմիս բարեջան Առաջնորդ՝ Գերշ. Տ. Անուշաւան Արքեպիսկոպոս, ընկերակցութեամբ եկեղեցւոյ հոգեւոր հովիւ՝ Հոգշ. Տ. Վաչէ Վրդ. Պալըքճեանի եւ Ս. Գրիգոր Լուսաւորիչ եկեղեցւոյ (Նորթ Անտովըր, Մասաչուսէթս) հոգեւոր հովիւ՝ Արժ. Տ. Ստեփան Քհն. Պալճեանի, ներկայ գտնուեցաւ Հայ Երիտասարդաց Դաշնակցութեան ողիմպիականներու բացման հանդիսութեան, որ տեղի ունեցաւ Փարամըսի (Նիւ Ճըրզի) երկրորդական վարժարանին մէջ։

Առաջնորդ Սրբազան Հայրը, Ազգային Վարչութեան Կրօնական եւ Քաղաքական Ժողովներուն անունով, շնորհաւորեց 92-րդ մարզախաղերը, մարզիկները, կազմակերպիչ յանձնախումբը, ծնողները եւ բարեկամները։ Դիմելով մարզիկներուն՝ ան ըսաւ. «Ձեր ներշնչող տողանցքին ընդմէջէն, ես հիացումով կը հետեւէի ինն տասնամեակներու վրայ տարածուած տեսլապաշտ հիմնադիր հայրերու եւ բոլոր անոնց տողանցքին, որոնք զոհաբերական ոգիով շարունակեցին անոնց առաքելութիւնը, կերտելով այս մեծ կազմակերպութիւնը»։

Անուշաւան Արքեպիսկոպոս նշեց, թէ անոնք առանցքային դեր կատարեցին մեր արժէքներն ու պատմութիւնը կենդանի պահելու աշխատանքին մէջ։ «Այսօր դուք այդ շղթային ամենէն արժէքաւոր օղակն էք, որ ապագայ սերունդներուն կը փոխանցէք այս առաքելութեան ջահը», ապա աւելցուց ան։ «Արեւելքէն ու արեւմուտքէն, հիւսիսէն ու հարաւէն գալով, մենք կը տօնենք մեր ազգի միութիւնը Հայրենիքի եւ Սփիւռքի մէջ, համերաշխութիւն մը, զոր ո՛չ մէկ ուժ կրնայ խորտակել այս աշխարհին մէջ»։ Իր խօսքը եզրափակելով, Սրբազան Հայրը ըսաւ. «Սիրելի՛ Հ.Ե.Դ.-ականներ, դուք այստեղ էք աշխարհին ըսելու, թէ ուր որ ալ գտնուինք, մենք յաւերժօրէն Հայաստան եւ Արցախ ե՛նք եւ պիտի ըլլանք»։

On Sunday, September 6, after the Divine Liturgy at Sts. Vartanantz Church in Ridgefield, New Jersey, His Eminence Archbishop Anoushavan, Prelate, accompanied by Very Rev. Fr. Vache Balekjian, Pastor of Sts. Vartanantz Church, and Rev. Fr. Stephan Baljian, Pastor of St. Gregory Church (North Andover, Massachusetts), attended the opening ceremony of the Armenian Youth Federation Olympics at Paramus High School (New Jersey).

On behalf of the Prelacy’s Religious and Executive Councils, His Eminence congratulated the 92nd Olympic Games, the athletes, the organizing committee, parents, and friends.

Addressing the athletes, he said: “Through your inspiring march, I was enjoying the marching of nine decades of the visionary founding fathers and all those who with sacrificial love continued their mission building up this great organization.” The Prelate added that they played a key role in keeping our values and history alive.

“Today you are the most valuable link in the chain, transferring the torch to the future generations,” Archbishop Anoushavan said. “Coming from east and west, north and south, we are celebrating the oneness of our nation in the homeland and the Diaspora, a solidarity that no power in this world can break.”

Concluding his words, the Prelate said: “Dear AYFers, you are here to say to the world that, wherever we are, we are and will be Armenia and Artsakh forever.”

On Sunday, September 6, His Eminence Archbishop Anoushavan, Prelate, will participate in the Divine Liturgy at Sts. Vartanantz Church in Ridgefield, New Jersey. Very Rev. Fr. Vache Balekjian, Pastor, will celebrate the Divine Liturgy and deliver the sermon.

Afterwards, the Prelate will preside over the opening ceremony of the Armenian Youth Federation’s Olympic Games in Paramus, New Jersey.
