This week, The Ven. Archdeacon Denise LaVetty examines how Jesus demonstrates that there is no distinction in the eyes of God, and asks us to think about how we can embody that teaching to sit with the sick, the marginalized, and the outcast, and welcome them in.

The Rt. Rev. Mark Eddington, Bishop in charge of the Convocation of Episcopal Churches in Europe, was at Incarnation last week. He followed up his visit with this picture from the American Cathedral in Paris, the gathering church for the Convocation. This pew is dedicated to “the men of the Parish of the Incarnation New York City who gave their lives for the Allied Cause.” Each American soldier listed died in France during WWI.

May light perpetual shine upon them, and may they go from strength to strength in the life of perfect service in God’s heavenly kingdom. Amen.

We are so proud of our seminarian, Romy John Abraham! Today Romy graduated with his Master of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary.

His mother and sister travelled from India for the blessed event and will join us on Pentecost Day, May 24, when we will recognize Romy’s achievement in worship. You are welcome to bring a dessert or finger food to share at Coffee Hour to celebrate Romy!
