Explore how ancient wisdom meets the cosmos.
This course journeys from rabbinic mathematics and Babylonian number systems to the mysteries of calendars, astrology, and the nature of time itself. Discover how the Tanakh, Talmud, and figures like Maimonides and Gersonides grappled with the structure of the universe and humanity’s place within it.

Whether you’re drawn to philosophy, history, or science, this class offers a thought-provoking perspective on the interplay between tradition and the stars. Presented by Mitch Gershonowitz.

Add your name to the letter: We need bold climate leadership in NYS! d.aye.nu/hochul

Alongside the Jewish community of New York: Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism-NY Jewish Climate Action Network NYC, and Adamah-NY, we call on Governor Kathy Hochul to advance renewables — not fossil fuels such as the Williams NESE pipeline she just greenlit, which also directly threatens the harbor ecosystem and locks our state into pollution and higher prices.

Governor Hochul must take bold leadership to ensure a future for our communities, families, and homes. Grounded in our commitment to pikuach nefesh (the preservation of life), we believe that embracing renewable energy is an urgent moral imperative.

Sign on today to join us as we urge her to advance renewables, not fossil fuels, and fulfill the full vision of the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act (CLCPA)! d.aye.nu/hochul

We expect the Governor to use every lever of power she has to meet this moment. Now is the time for bold leadership and we offer her hizzuk (strength) to resist pressure from the White House and make New York the climate leader we know it can and should be.
