A little baking, a lot of community care! 💙

Recently, our CRS Breakfast Club came together in the Schafler Kitchen to prepare breakfast treats for ROCC-NYC, an organization supporting vulnerable New Yorkers, including our newest immigrants.

Through simple acts of kindness and a shared sense of communal responsibility, we're helping care for our neighbors and strengthen our community.

“Grief carries no deadline.”

In a sermon delivered during our October 7 Commemoration Erev Shabbat service, Rabbi Spratt reflected on the Jewish teaching that the gates of tears are never closed, and the importance of making room for grief while helping one another rise.

His words remind us that remembrance extends beyond a single day, and that our responsibility to care for one another continues.

Celebrating America’s 250th with a CRS Outing to Philadelphia!

This past weekend, we partnered with Dr. David Krueger of Temple University’s Dialogue Institute for a day of learning about the history of religious pluralism in the United States.

Together, CRS members explored historic sites including the First Amendment Monument, Independence Hall, Mikveh Israel Congregation and a Quaker meeting house.
