This summer, our church children explored the world day by day — sky, earth, plants, animals, and humanity — recreating something of the possible *Sitz im Leben* (Setting in life) of the creation story in Genesis 1. Each day brought discovery and gratitude, culminating in the seventh day: rest and worship.

And evening passed and morning came, marking the second day — of Rutgers camp!

Yesterday, Pastor Andrew took our campers to Central Park to study geology and learn more about nature in Genesis 1. Even the beautiful snack of babka and caramel rocks was inspired by the geological theme! 🪨

⭐️ For the first day of Rutgers camp, we went to the Planetarium. 🌌 No one will be surprised to hear that the kids were the real stars!

Take a sneak peek at our sanctuary renovation 🧱 Right now, the sanctuary is completely stripped down — the next step is to start pouring the terrazzo flooring. It may be unrecognizable now, but the final result will be the perfect place for worship, fellowship, and community.

While we're working on the sanctuary, join us for services on Sundays at 11am on the 5th floor Fellowship Hall. All are welcome. See you tomorrow morning!
