The Companions of Xavier service program is a long standing tradition of Xavier High School that invites all to live out the Ignatian call to be Men and Women For and With Others. Known by the Xavier community simply as "CFX", hundreds of students, faculty, staff, and alumni have volunteered in this program at the heart of our school's Jesuit mission. Many have found these service trips to be incr

edible, life-changing, and exciting experiences in which they have learned new skills, ministered to wonderful people, made new friends, and grown closer to God.

This morning we welcomed our four candidates and two catechumens who are being prayerfully formed through RCIA at Xavier. These young men will receive the sacraments at the all-school mass celebrating the Feast of the Ascension in the spring. Today, Fr. Ricardo da Silva preached on the yoke - and how Jesus shares our yoke, lightening our burden and inviting us to do the same with others with others. Please continue to pray for our students as they grow in faith.
