We are a church and community rooted in the gospel of Jesus Christ. QPEM (Queens Presbyterian English Ministry) is the EM of the Korean American Presbyterian Church of Queens in Flushing, NY. We are a vibrant congregation with a healthy mix of families & couples, young adults and college students. We strive to be transformed as a Christ-centered family, grounded in God's Word, steadfast in prayer, devoted to fellowship, lived out in evangelism, and committed to making disciples of Jesus Christ.

🔹We encourage all members to attend the KM worship service next Sunday, 6/14 at 10:30AM with the candidate for Senior Pastor as the guest speaker. It will be followed by a voting session for congregational members only. For more information about the candidate, use the link in our bio.

🔹 As we approach the Lord’s Communion next Sunday, please take time to prepare your hearts in prayer and reflection as we receive the elements together.

🔹 It’s that time of year again! Please join us on Sunday, 6/14 after service in the Fellowship Hall as we auction off various services and goods, all proceeds going directly to our Kenya Missions team to help support members’ plane tickets. Please consider signing up using the link in our bio if you have anything you would like to donate to be auctioned off that day.

🔹 We will be having our bi-annual Men’s Retreat from Friday, June 19 to Sunday, June 21 at Grove Hall Retreat Center in New Jersey! This is a great opportunity for our brothers to fellowship and spend intentional time in growing how to be men who can serve our church and our families.

🔹 Come one, come all and join us for a Friday night ice cream and game night fellowship on July 17 at 7pm in the Fellowship Hall. Join us as we scoop some ice cream and lay out board games for all ages to participate.

🔹We are looking for volunteers to do a weekday Bible reading once a week with members of the Sanford group home via zoom. Anyone interested please reach out to Elder David Shin, Deacon Jenny Whang or any members of the missions board.

🔹We are looking for volunteers to read God’s word with the residents at New Franklin Nursing Home (virtually) on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 4:30 PM to 5 PM. Contact Deacon Jenny Whang if you’re willing to help out!

🔹Join us for Praise and Prayer this Friday, 6/5, at 7:30 PM. We will be continuing our sermon series, The Beatitudes, in the New Building Main Sanctuary.

🔹Our next 35+ Large Group Joint gathering will be this Sunday 6/7 at 2:15PM in the 4th floor room. See you there!

🔹Its starting to get warmer outside so you know what that means~ Come out to our Church Bazaar for our Summer Bazaar Car Wash happening this Saturday, 6/6 -5PM, in the New Building Parking Lot. Sign up at the link in bio to support our Missions Teams by volunteering your time, and manpower, to wash cars. 🚗

🔹Women’s ministry will be this Saturday at 5 Pm in the New Building Fellowship Hall right after the Bazaar. If you would like to volunteer to prepare dinner, please reach out to P. Rich. And for all our Sisters, please rsvp for our meeting at the link in bio.

📣 This Week’s Announcements

🔹 Men’s ministry will be meeting this Saturday at 10:30 AM. Join us for a time of fellowship, teaching, and growth in biblical manhood. Please RSVP by Tuesday in order for us to get a head count for lunch.

🔹 QPEM Softball has officially launched! If you are interested in participating in practices and exhibition games against other churches, please fill out the form in the link in our bio. Our first game will be next Sunday, 5/31 at 3:15 PM against North Shore Baptist Church!

🔹 We will be holding another car wash this year to raise funds for missions on Saturday, 6/6! Please sign up for one or more of the four shifts; we need a lot of manpower as we wash, dry, and vaccuum cars. Come out and support our church’s missions work!

🔹 Women’s ministry will be meeting on Saturday, 6/6 at 5 PM in the New Building Fellowship Hall. Volunteers are needed to help with preparing dinner! Please reach out to P. Rich if you’d like to participate. RSVP at the link in our bio!
