State of Emergency: Where Is the Church Now? (2026)
Statement of Purpose
In 2026, the Church finds itself at a critical crossroads. While technology has advanced, culture has shifted, and society has become increasingly connected, many people remain spiritually disconnected, emotionally wounded, and searching for authentic hope. State of Emergency: Where Is the Church Now? is a virtual panel discussion designed to examine the current condition, relevance, and responsibility of the Church in this pivotal moment.
This conversation seeks to address the pressing realities facing the modern Church: declining engagement, generational transitions, mental health challenges, social justice concerns, political polarization, discipleship gaps, and the growing tension between cultural influence and biblical conviction. More importantly, it seeks to explore how the Church can remain a transformative force in communities while effectively ministering to the needs of today’s generation.
Through honest dialogue, prophetic insight, and practical solutions, this panel will bring together pastors, leaders, thinkers, and believers to assess where the Church stands, where it has succeeded, where it has fallen short, and what must happen next. The goal is not to condemn the Church, but to challenge, strengthen, and equip it for greater impact in the future.
As we confront the realities of 2026, we ask a critical question:
Is the Church leading the culture, reacting to the culture, or retreating from the culture?
This discussion serves as a call to reflection, accountability, renewal, and action as we seek to understand the Church’s role in addressing the spiritual, social, and moral emergencies of our time.
Because if the world is in a state of emergency, the question remains: Where is the Church now?
