The Prison Ministry

The Prison Ministry The Prison Ministry at Convent Avenue Baptist Church was first conceptualized in the mind and heart of Rev. Dr. Emery Ailes, and sponsored by the late Rev. Grant

Dr. Clarence P. Today under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Jesse T. Williams, Jr. the prison ministry ministers on average to 100 prisoners and their families annually. We visit both the adult and juvenile prisoners and their families year-round via a number of events including our annual Angel Tree Celebration, Youth Summit, Workshop Awareness Builder, and our Annual Worship Service. Ours is an open door ministry. All are welcome.
