Today we celebrate the event that changed history forever: the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is not just something that happened in the past; it is a living reality that transforms our present and opens our future.
The empty tomb is more than a sign that Christ lives; it is the proclamation that death does not have the final word. In a world marked by pain, injustice, and uncertainty, the resurrection reminds us that God is still at work, that light continues to overcome darkness.
The victory of Christ over death is the victory of humanity. A humanity that, despite calamities, despite the evil that still exists, continues to grow, to develop, to move forward. We are not destined for failure or emptiness; we are called to life, to restoration, to fullness.
In the risen Christ we find more than comfort, we find purpose. Our existence is not an accident or a meaningless cycle. We are part of a greater story, a story of redemption, where every act of love, every step of faith, and every pursuit of good carries eternal value.
The resurrection also calls us to look within. Just as Christ conquered death, He can bring life to everything within us that feels lost: broken dreams, fading hope, weakened faith. Easter is an invitation to begin again, to rise with renewed vision and a firm heart.
Now more than ever, the world needs people who live with this hope, people who believe that good can overcome evil, that love is stronger than hate, and that there is always a better tomorrow in the hands of God.
May this Easter Sunday be an awakening. A reminder that we live because He lives.
Take the hand of Christ and receive His love, because with Him, we have life.

This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad. Happy Easter to All🙏

On this Palm Sunday, we walk with Christ between hope and the cross, remembering that for every migrant seeking peace, community, work, and integration, we encounter Christ who calls us to love and serve. As a Scalabrinian family, we welcome, accompany, and serve with love.

On this day of Saint Joseph, we contemplate the faithful guardian who protected the Holy Family, even in exile. As a father and migrant, Saint Joseph inspires us to welcome, accompany, and serve those who leave their homeland in search of life and dignity. May his silent faith teach us to trust God in every journey.

150 years of a call that still speaks today
“I will not endure toil to become a father to the unhappy, rector to the ignorant, rector to the priests, shepherd to all, so that I have done everything to all, I may win everyone to Christ.”
(St. John Baptist Scalabrini, 1876)

150 years ago, on January 30, 1876, St. John Baptist Scalabrini was ordained bishop of Piacenza. A ministry lived without reservation, in fidelity to the Gospel and concrete love for the poorest and migrants.

On this anniversary, the Scalabrinian family looks to the future: on April 26th the Scalabrinian Vocational Year will begin, a time of grace to "Revive the gift of God that is in us" (2 Timothy 1,6). A call that keeps going.
