'God Has Placed Us Here for a Purpose'

The The World Evangelical Alliance was honored to worship with the American Protestant Church in Bonn, Germany, sharing fellowship, Biblical reflection, and the vision of serving the global Church together.

Drawing from Acts 17:24–28, Dr. Peirong Lin, Chief of Staff, WEA, reminded the congregation that none of us are where we are by accident. Whether living near or far from home, God has intentionally placed us where we are to seek Him, serve His purposes, and be part of His work in the world. APC, Bonn is an international church which is represented by 40 nationalities.

The visit also provided an opportunity to share about WEA's ministry of connecting, serving, and representing over 650 million evangelicals worldwide.

As the WEA intentionally strengthens collaboration efforts globally, we are grateful for the warm hospitality of the American Protestant Church and encouraged by the reminder that God's people are united across nations, cultures, and generations.

Pray for mercies for the Philippines after a strong earthquake hit the southern part of the country and caused damage and casualties.
Also pray for the Asia Conference on Christian Mission to be held in Manila, the Philippines starting tomorrow the 9th of June.

🎓✨ Graduation is more than an academic achievement—it is a celebration of perseverance, inclusion, and faith.

At Alliance Academy Jordan, a Christian Mission and Alliance school, students from diverse backgrounds and abilities reach their God-given potential.

This year, one of the graduates, Saba Hijazin, who has severe cerebral palsy, successfully completed all graduation requirements and excelled in his O-Level examinations.

As the graduates enter a rapidly changing digital and AI-driven world, Christian education must continue to equip them not only with knowledge, but with wisdom, character, and a strong foundation of faith.

We are delighted to begin this series of introducing the WEA.

Meet Ashish Hirday, the facilitator of The World Evangelical Alliance Youth Commission.

For over two decades, Ashish has faithfully served young people across local churches, cities, nations, and regions. In 2023, he sensed God’s call to lead the WEA Youth Commission—a calling he accepted with humility, prayer, and trust.

On this International Children’s Day, The World Evangelical Alliance released a statement that calls the global Church to prioritize family-based care wherever possible.

God "𝘴𝘦𝘵𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘪𝘯 𝘧𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘴"(Psalm 68:6). As we seek to care for vulnerable children, may our compassion be guided by both biblical conviction and the best available evidence.

We mourn with our affiliate member OM (Operation Mobilization) the passing of its co- founder Dale Rhoton .
Great legacy for the glory of the Lord

Dale Rhoton, co-founder of Operation Mobilisation, passed away peacefully on 31 May. He was 88 years old.

Together with George Verwer and Walter Borchard, Dale helped lay the foundations of what would become OM with their pioneering first mission trip to Mexico nearly seventy years ago. Through Dale’s leadership in least-reached countries and OM’s Ship Ministry, countless lives have been touched around the world.

The vision for global evangelical collaboration has been endorsed by the International Council.

The London gathering marked the International Council’s first face-to-face session at the Evangelical Alliance office since Seoul 2025.

Rev. Botrus Mansour, Secretary General, WEA said the plan envisions reaching out to about 164 WEA alliances to understand each body’s calling and needs, with the WEA acting as a connector and facilitator rather than imposing its own agenda.
