For 100 years, the BBC has brought Choral Evensong into homes around the world.

Writing in The Telegraph to mark this remarkable anniversary, the celebrated composer Sir John Rutter reflects on the enduring beauty of Evensong, its place in Anglican worship, and its ability to move and inspire people of all faiths and none.

We’re especially pleased that Rutter mentions Saint Thomas Fifth Avenue among the churches outside Britain featured in the BBC’s broadcasts.

At Saint Thomas, Choral Evensong remains a cherished part of our worship, offered throughout the week by the Saint Thomas Choir of Men and Boys.

We invite you to experience it for yourself.
