It's so hard to feel at times when emotions go in opposite directions. Especially during these festive times like Thanksgiving, and having to face hardships, grief, and loss. Take these to Jesus who created the best wine ever and who is also a man of sorrows.

Jesus, the Son of God, a man of sorrows, despised by people

GAF is celebrating our 5, come alive!!! This Sunday, we'll be having a rededication time for GAF family members and also acknowledging the impact of GAF. Whether you were with us for the initial launch or joined in the intermission of 5 years or had left due to changed circumstances, we love to hear your input. It is a less than 3 minute form!! THANKS!!!

GAF family, Please answer this short and sweet feedback form so that we can use it to celebrate our anniversary this Pentecost Sunday. Would love to hear of the impact you have experienced journeying in GAF

May was a difficult month to endure, but we are very thankful to see different communities rising up to walk alongside each other to face this together. May we continue to grow in this momentum and bring about much needed changes.

5/11 (tomorrow)is last day to register for the yummy meal.

Come join Asian American and Pacific Islander Christians and Black American Christians, as we unite for a solidarity walk. As one body in Christ, we will pray in peace and power to support the AAPI community on Saturday, May 14th at 11am.

In honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, the walk through Chinatown will start at Seward Park, on Essex St. and Canal St, and stop by a few key landmarks while we spend time in reflection and prayer. Afterwards, we welcome you to “break bread” with us over a meal of Asian cuisines as we continue our conversation together.

All ethnic, faith, and cultural backgrounds are invited and welcomed to the Walk of Faith. We affirm the dignity and respect of all attendees, regardless of ethnicity, religion, or sexuality.

This event is hosted by the 67th Precinct Clergy Council “The God Squad” and the New York Coalition of Asian American and Pacific Islander Churches (NYCAAPIC).

*Attendance at the walk is open to all, but we ask that those joining for the meal afterwards be vaccinated in order to unmask and eat together.
