FCBC 2026 Theme: I Am A New Day Dawning
(960)

We are an ever-evolving community of visionaries, dreamers and doers who have been called by God to live the lives we were created to live, commanded by God to love beyond the limits of our prejudices and commissioned by God to serve!

What good is decorating the walls if the roof is caving in? 🏠💭

Dr. Maurice Wallace challenges us to look beyond surface-level progress and pay attention to the structures holding everything together.

From gerrymandering to the erosion of voting rights, we cannot afford to focus on appearances while the very foundation of our progress is being threatened.

The work isn't just about making the house look better. It's about making sure the house can still stand.

🗣️ We've got some structural work to do!

Stop letting distraction keep you from doing the work. 💭

During Empowering Conversations, Rev. Alisha Gordon reminds us through the words of Toni Morrison that we don’t have to spend our lives proving our humanity, our worth, or our right to exist. There will always be one more thing. The work is bigger than the need to prove ourselves.

Your first draft doesn't have to be the finished product. 🙏🏾

Don't let the fear of getting it wrong keep you from getting started. Give yourself grace to begin, make mistakes, grow, and trust that God is walking with you every step of the way. ❤️

Keep going. God isn't finished with you yet!

🙌🏾

He's still moving mountains. He's still making ways. And He's STILL the God of the turnaround! 🔥

What looks impossible to us is never beyond God's power. Whatever mountain you're facing, whatever situation seems too far gone, remember that the same God who made a way before is still working things out in your life today! 🙏🏾

🎶 YOU MOVE MOUNTAINS! 🎶

Don't count God out just because you can't see the way forward. Your story isn't over, and God isn't finished!

Somebody declare it in the comments: HE'S TURNING IT AROUND! 🙌🏾

Stop focusing on what you lost and start looking at what you have left.
God can work wonders with what's left! 🙌🏾
