This year’s Sukkot at Central Synagogue was action-packed and full of love, joy, and celebration.

Our youngest members enjoyed a fall-favorite “Sukkot on the Farm” field trip, and our new downtown satellite enjoyed Sukkot and Shabbat services. 20s & 30s celebrated together at the “Sukkot Under the Stars” event and our new members got to know each other during Happy Hour in the Sukkah.

We are so grateful for how our community came together over the last few weeks for a meaningful and spiritual High Holy Day season. To learn more about Central’s worship schedule and events throughout the year, visit our website.

Over the weekend, Jews around the world celebrated Simchat Torah, the joyful holiday when we finish our annual cycle of reading the Torah and begin again.

At Central, Rabbis Lorge and Rifkin explained why each book of the Torah was their favorite before the community came together to share an aliyah and hear Cantors Mutlu and Pearsall chant the ending and beginning of the Torah without skipping a breath.

It was a beautiful community gathering. Thank you to all you celebrated with us! Chag Sameach from Central Synagogue.
