*Let My People Go*
Exodus 4:22–23; 5:1 NKJV _— “Thus says the Lord: ‘Israel is My son, My firstborn. So I say to you, let My son go that he may serve Me.’”_
*FOCUS*
God’s call for deliverance is never vague, weak, or uncertain. When He sent Moses back to Egypt, He did not send him with a suggestion—He sent him with a divine command: “Let My people go.” Israel was not just a nation in bo***ge; they were God’s covenant people, His “firstborn,” precious to His heart. Their deliverance was not initiated by Moses’ compassion but by God’s love, authority, and covenant faithfulness.
God chose to demonstrate His power through a man—a once-fearful shepherd who had no army, no influence, and no political standing. Yet when God’s hand rests on a person, weakness becomes a weapon, and obedience becomes a doorway for miracles. Through Moses, God confronted Pharaoh, broke the chains of oppression, and revealed Himself as the God who rescues, redeems, and restores.
The same God still speaks deliverance over His people today.
*REFLECTION*
• Deliverance begins with God’s declaration, not human effort.
• God often uses ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary freedom.
• When God says, “Let My people go,” no power—spiritual or natural—can resist Him.
• Your deliverance is rooted in God’s identity and His love for you, not your strength.
• Where is God declaring freedom in your life today—fear, addiction, shame, stagnation, or spiritual oppression?
*PRAYER*
Father, thank You for being the God who delivers. Speak Your word of freedom over every area of my life. Use me, like Moses, as a vessel of Your power and compassion. Break every chain, silence every Pharaoh, and lead me into the freedom You have ordained. I surrender to Your voice and Your purpose. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
