Religious grooming can begin quietly, through peer pressure, through emotional manipulation, deceptive relationships, isolation from family and sangat, false promises and gradual pressure to abandon one’s Sikh identity.

Basics of Sikhi invites the community to an important and timely conversation focused on recognizing the warning signs, protecting vulnerable individuals, and responding with awareness, compassion, and courage.
